Long ago, a company of grenadiers was sent to the coast to protect the nation. Winter had arrived, and a terrible ice storm had just swept through, coating the paths around a pond with a thick layer of ice. To avoid the treacherous ice, the soldiers marched across the frozen pond. The ice gave way, and all 100 grenadiers perished. Even now, a magical angel secretly watches over their final resting place, protecting and honoring their memory.
